​I found Justine online (always a risk) but I knew it wouldn’t be when I picked the telephone to her!
Probably like many people I had a lot to say about my Mum ! Articulating it suitably for a Eulogy is no easy task! Certainly not for me anyway!
I had a telephone conference with Justine (she did offer Zoom) she diligently both let me chat and prompted me with useful questions! A day or so later Justine sent me her first draft (which formed 99% of what I said) Being an awkward customer I asked Justine on at least 3 occasions for minor changes! This was never an issue nor was I made to feel a pest!
Justine was our celebrant for both the happiest and saddest day of our lives.
In 2021 she led the funeral tributes for my best friend and brother, Jack, who took his own life. She approached this difficult task with sensitivity, care and love, representing Jack and his memory the way we had envisioned and in the way he deserved. I honestly can’t imagine how anyone could have represented our pain and love in such a special way.
In 2025 I married the love of my life Mia. As a nod to Jack we chose Justine to be our celebrant, not just for that connection, but because we remember how personal and bespoke her approach was. Under a beautiful oak tree in a meadow she put our love into words. She told our story, better than perhaps we could have told it ourselves. Her genuine nature, kindness and curiosity was everything we wanted and more. She guided us through every step of the process, from ceremony design, personalised vows, hand fasting and easing our pre wedding anxieties, she was with us every step of our journey. Thank you Justine for making our day even more special and memorable.
