I’m Clare at Tapestry Funerals and I believe funeral and memorial services should not be endurance tests – my aim is to create ceremonies that pay respect and offer comfort. I will tailor the ceremony to your wishes, helping you to weave together memories, readings and music to reflect the life and personality of your loved one – just like a tapestry! As an independent funeral celebrant, I focus on commemorating lives rather than the sharing of religious teaching, but in addition to offering secular ceremonies, I am happy to incorporate some religious element, such as a prayer or a hymn, if that feels right for your family. It is entirely up to you.
