I am an experienced Funeral Celebrant. I am also a Fellow of the Faculty of Funeral Celebrants.
I only conduct funeral ceremonies. I specialise in this one area.
I conduct all ceremonies as the family wish, be they secular, spiritual or religious.
I am a Quaker and a volunteer Chaplain at Bath Spa University.
I conduct simple, meaningful and respectful ceremonies. I allow space to mourn loss as well as to celebrate life.
I have made a personal choice not to request reviews from grieving families. In a recent ceremony, on 05.02.2026, at Sedgemoor Crematorium, the Funeral Director, unprompted, wrote thanking me for my ‘professionalism, care and thoughtful approach, greatly appreciated by the family and the dignity and compassion brought to the occasion’.
