I’m Justine, a Kent wedding celebrant creating personal, relaxed and beautifully written wedding ceremonies across Kent, Sussex, Surrey and London, as well as throughout the UK and internationally.
Your wedding ceremony should be far more than the part you have to get through before the celebrations begin. It can set the tone for the whole day: full of personality, laughter, warmth and those moments that neither you nor your guests were expecting.
I take time to really get to know you. Through relaxed but thoughtful conversations, I discover how you met, what makes your relationship work, the people and experiences that matter to you and, importantly, how you want your ceremony to feel. I then write your ceremony completely from scratch, weaving your story through it without turning it into something overly sentimental or generic.
As an experienced wedding celebrant in Kent, I conduct ceremonies in beautiful and sometimes wonderfully unusual settings, from country houses, castles and private estates to gardens, woodland, luxury hotels and outdoor wedding venues. I regularly work across Ashford, Maidstone, Tunbridge Wells and Canterbury, and am always happy to travel across the UK and destination weddings.
Your ceremony can include personal vows, readings, music, ring warming, handfasting or other symbolic elements, but there is no formula we have to follow. We create something that works for the two of you.
My approach is calm, organised and inclusive, with storytelling, humour and the confidence to hold a room while ensuring the ceremony always remains about you.

Justine did a superb job at the funeral of my dad at Kent & Sussex crem in Tunbridge Wells last week. My step mother had provided the main points of his life, together with some fond memories and anecdotes gathered from me and my two brothers. Justine skilfully created a very touching and personal tribute of his well-lived life that was at once solemn and uplifting. It was very well done and delivered beautifully. Thank you.
