Sally was just wonderful as our Celebrant to say goodbye to a dear friend. Totally professional, friendly and helpful at every step. She captured what we wanted to say on the day and delivered it beautifully. Would highly recommend Sally for any occasion.
Wee asked Sally to be the celebrant for my father’s funeral service at the crematorium (attended by close family only) and then, later in the day, as the leader of ceremonies at his Celebration of Life ceremony, attended by 130 family and friends. All I can say is that she was BRILLIANT at both roles. We met a couple of times before the day so that she could understand a little bit about what Dad was like as a person, what we were like as a family and what we wanted from both parts of the day – to say that she nailed the brief is an understatement. She led a very respectful service at the crematorium and gave a small eulogy on our behalf there, and then spoke beautifully at the Celebration of life service where we give a wider eulogy and introduced the various parts of the service that we had put together.
Throughout the whole process, which is a sad one to go through, she was compassionate, understanding, gave some wonderful advice and was so helpful to us during what are always difficult weeks of a loved one’d passing.
We have had some amazingly positive comments about the whole service, of which Sally was an integral part – we cannot thank her enough and would not hesitate to recommend her.
