I am an independent naming celebrant based in the North East, creating warm, relaxed and completely personalised naming ceremonies for babies and children of all ages. Whether you are celebrating a birth, adoption, welcoming a stepchild into a blended family, or simply marking this important milestone, your ceremony will reflect your family’s story, values and hopes for the future.

Your ceremony can include:
• Promises from parents and guideparents or supporting adults
• Readings, poems or personal messages
• Symbolic elements such as sand blending, candle lighting or memory keepsakes
• Music and special roles for siblings and family members

Every ceremony I create is unique. I take time to get to know your family so the day feels natural, meaningful and full of personality – never scripted or generic.

Naming ceremonies can take place wherever feels right for you – at home, in your garden, at a venue, in woodland or by the sea. I work across County Durham, Tyne & Wear, North Yorkshire and Cumbria, and I’m happy to travel further if needed.
