As an award-winning celebrant, I encourage exploring your choices – whether that is where the ceremony is held, who leads the ceremony or how we celebrate that life. I create bespoke Celebration of Life and funeral ceremonies that reflect the person we are celebrating – their story, their relationships, their character and their legacy – every element is so important!
Each ceremony is written from scratch following thoughtful conversations with the family, allowing space for reflection, gentle humour where appropriate, and moments of calm pause. My role is to guide families with steady professionalism, helping them shape words, music and structure into a ceremony that feels personal, respectful and appropriate. Justine did a superb job at the funeral of my dad at Kent & Sussex crem in Tunbridge Wells last week. My step mother had provided the main points of his life, together with some fond memories and anecdotes gathered from me and my two brothers. Justine skilfully created a very touching and personal tribute of his well-lived life that was at once solemn and uplifting. It was very well done and delivered beautifully. Thank you.
